CHERRYVILLE – Isobel Goins Pfeifer, 92, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in the comfort of her family. She was born March 27, 1928 in Gaston County, the youngest child of the late William Augustus and Ada Louise Goins. She graduated from Cherryville High School in 1945. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Beam Pfeifer; beloved sons, David Scott Pfeifer and Gary Wayne Pfeifer; and siblings, Annie Bridges, Mae Walker, Eavey Carpenter, Bertie Ivester, Pauline White, Margaret Elam Dover, Sue Williams, and Lemuel Goins.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-love, Eric and Deborah Pfeifer; grandchildren, Ashley E. Bobb, Martin K. Bobb, and E. Morgan Pfeifer; great-grandchildren, Preston Ellington, Ashton Belk, Grayson Belk, and Kelson Bobb; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many dear friends who were also her family.
