Lady Ironmen varsity volleyball head coach Leigh Kiser announced that freshman setter Rileigh Kiser has been named to the SPC 1A All-Conference team.

Said Coach Kiser, “Rileigh was recognized last Thursday (Oct. 17) at the conference championship game at Lincoln Charter, following the title game between Lincoln Charter and Christ the King.”

She continued, “Rileigh set freshman records with 55 serve aces and 180 defensive digs. She also had 344 assists for the 2019 season which was the second most by a freshman, and chipped in 34 kills.”

Coach Kiser noted Rileigh is the second freshman to make the All-Conference team, joining school record-holding setter Bayleigh Henley for that honor.

Coach Kiser said league champions Lincoln Charter had the most selections with three players receiving All-Conference honors.

When asked about the future of the Lady Ironmen volleyball teams for the 2020 season, Coach Kiser remarked, “I am excited for the future of Lady Ironmen volleyball, especially with all the young talent that will be returning in 2020.”
